Towards sustainable and circular supply chains at SEW Eurodrive (Rotterdam)
SEW Eurodrive assembles drives (electro motors) to customer configuration. SEW is an innovative company in Lean that leads its industry by remanufacturing customer drives needing service. Remanufacturing is an application of a circular supply chain that, combined with Lean, focuses on minimizing negative environmental impacts. This is an important starting point to becoming sustainable.

Last Wednesday, members of Supply Chain Network (SCNet) had the opportunity to visit the Toyota Yaris plant in Valenciennes, France. The atmosphere was relaxed and we had good and interesting conversations during the trip. We exchanged our perspectives one to one and in small groups.

Graduation ceremony 2017
