SEW Eurodrive assembles drives (electro motors) to customer configuration. SEW is an innovative company in Lean that leads its industry by remanufacturing customer drives needing service. Remanufacturing is an application of a circular supply chain that, combined with Lean, focuses on minimizing negative environmental impacts. This is an important starting point to becoming sustainable.
During this event, we will also get an update on ASCM’s sustainability efforts. You will see how ASCM has integrated sustainability performance into the new SCOR DS model in alignment with other ASCM sustainability initiatives.
After lunch, offered by SEW, we will have a factory tour that shows us the assemble-to-order process and how it is managed.
