The current problems with supply chains by an example of the 1928 pig cycle. This is a theory which describes the adjustment mechanism of supply and demand that are not in balance and where capacity decisions have a delayed effect.
SEW Eurodrive assembles drives (electro motors) to customer configuration. SEW is an innovative company in Lean that leads its industry by remanufacturing customer drives needing service. Remanufacturing is an application of a circular supply chain that, combined with Lean, focuses on minimizing negative environmental impacts. This is an important starting point to becoming sustainable.
