Africa will have the largest free trade zone in the world.

African Countries have closed the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) in 2018.

Now that Gambia has ratified the agreement as the 22nd country, the agreement will be effective in July 2019. This result has been achieved after 7 years of negotiations.
